Store owner Harlan Krueger opened Harlan’s
Bike & Tour in 2001 when he decided to bring a small specialty
shop back to Sioux Falls. Though not a small shop anymore,
Harlan's Bike and Tour still has personalized service and is still
the most specialized shop in the region.
Harlan has been in the bike business since the
80’s and is known as the regions most experienced bicycle
mechanic. He is certified by the Barnett Bicycle Institute and
has previously been the head mechanic for the “Big Ride”, as
well as numerous other positions on national rides. Harlan can
fit you with the right bike and make sure your investment is
kept in fine form throughout its lifetime. |

Office Manager (and Harlan's brother) Cal is here to make
sure your order is processed correctly and on time. Cal has
ridden organized bicycling events for many years and he
organizes our tour rides. |

Kevin is a master bicycle
mechanic who has been working on bikes for 18 years. He can
build you a new wheel or salvage wheels most mechanics would not
even attempt to true. Kevin is an avid road rider, mountain
biker, and was a BMXer in his younger days.
Don't worry, Kevin washes his hands before he
test rides the repaired bike. |

Sean is a road and mountain biker.
He rides to work and attends as many events as possible. Sean
can help you choose the right bike and fit you correctly. |

Alan has worked coast to coast in the
bicycle industry. He was a road technician on the American Lung
Association's Big Ride for 5 years, he was co-owner of The
Asbury Park Pedaler in New Jersey, and he is now available right
here in Sioux Falls to fix anything we throw at him. |

Aimee is a recent high school graduate who
brings female class to the shop. Being Phil's daughter, she is
both alacritous and disciplined. |

Phil is a retired Air Force pilot
and an avid roadie who decided to try his hand at being a
bicycle technician. As long as you don't try to race him,
you will find him quite agreeable.

Luke, Harlan's son, has a special
interest in car-free living. Luke is here to help you
find the setup that you will want to ride everywhere you go.

Rick is a long time runner and bicycle
rider. His first love is the open road, but he has also come
close to death on a mountain bike in Colorado. Rick is a
certified fitting specialist and will help keep you happy on
your bicycle.
